Diane C. Grefé

Diane Grefé is a Managing Director of Cook & Company. She is a senior consultant with over 25 years of management experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Diane’s career has focused on change management and leadership development, often in the international arena.

In addition to her executive roles, she also served as course developer, writer, facilitator, trainer and coach in the areas of leadership, management, team building, communication, professional presentation skills, conflict resolution, human resource development, sales and cross-cultural communication. She is the developer of Cook & Company’s proprietary assessment instruments for individuals, leaders, teams and organizations. She is certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, Firo-B™, Strong Interest Inventory™, the ECI (Emotional Intelligence), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and 6 Hats Thinking.

Her public and non-profit work includes organizational development consulting to the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Information Agency and the Agency for International Development. Diane was President of the National Council for International Visitors, and served on the the NYC Commission to the United Nations and Consular Corps.

Diane received her B.A. from Smith College and has done coursework in management and leadership at NYU and the University of Tulsa. She has testified before Congress and has been a lecturer and speaker at regional, national and international conferences in the areas of leadership, management, team building and international educational and cultural exchange. She has served on numerous international boards of directors.
