Scott Elliff

Scott has twenty-five years of consulting experience, spanning numerous industries, functions, and issues. He has been a founder, principal and partner at several consulting firms.

Scott’s expertise is in the area of supply chain management, including procurement and strategic sourcing, manufacturing, transportation, logistics, distribution and inventory management and customer service.

He has consulted to companies in industrial equipment, consumer-packaged goods, high tech, food, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, retailing and distribution, textiles and apparel, professional services, utilities and other industries.

He frequently speaks at conferences and professional meetings, has published a range of white papers, authors a monthly Journal of Commerce column, and is quoted periodically in the business press. He serves as an adjunct faculty member for the Institute of Supply Management, and has been a Director of the Barker Foundation.

Scott served on the staff of the Office of Management and Budget in the Executive Office of the President. During two administrations he was involved in analyzing the performance and management of major federal spending programs and helping develop appropriate budgetary, legislative, and regulatory strategies and improvement actions.

Scott graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in mathematics and social science, and received his M.A. from the University of Michigan.
